On Friday, at the inaugural ASCEND Summit, Ellen Kullman, a co-chair of the Paradigm for Parity® coalition and the former Chair and CEO of DuPont, participated in a conversation on the status of women in the workplace with MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski. The day-long forum focused on the need to get more women into leadership positions in the corporate world and the steps that companies can take to close the gender gap.
To kick off Women’s History Month, the Paradigm for Parity® coalition is pleased to announce that 103 CEOs have committed to taking action within their organizations to close the gender gap in corporate leadership. The Paradigm for Parity® coalition has more than tripled in size since launching in 2016 with 27 companies. Together, the coalition companies employ more than 5.4 million workers across the globe and span a diverse range of 28 industries, including technology, health care, food service, retail and financial services.

Yesterday, Ellen Kullman, a co-chair of the Paradigm for Parity® coalition, joined CBS 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl for a conversation around gender inequity in the workplace. The segment also featured three companies of the more than 70 members of the Paradigm for Parity® coalition that have committed to achieve parity in leadership by 2030 – Salesforce, Linkage and NFP.
Today, 19 Paradigm for Parity® member companies were saluted for their leadership in appointing women to serve on corporate boards of directors at the Women’s Forum of New York Annual Breakfast of Corporate Champions. The companies were recognized as the 2017 Corporate Champions for having at least 25% of board seats held by women.

Today, Anthem, Inc., a member of the Paradigm for Parity® coalition, announced Gail K. Boudreaux will be the next Chief Executive Officer and President and will also be appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors.
